From Owner:
This is a Dake 370 automatic Ferrous cold saw 2002 It uses blades up to 14.5"(370MM) and runs 25 or 50 rpms. The rpms could be increased by the addition of a variable frequency drive to cut softer materials . You can have your blades resharpened and reuse them down to around 11". The headstops are adjustable for different blade sizes and stock sizes. Maximum stock cutting sizes are 4" solid rounds or squares 5" round tube. This was a semi automatic saw we professionally built the bar feeder so we could get a saw with a 36" stroke. The cycle times are much lower on a single stroke cut between 24 and 36" because you don't have to wait for the cylinder to retract and make the second stroke. It has maple leaf and Omron control components and we have the wiring diagrams and program logic in a separate manual. It will double stroke so you can cut up to 71.5" parts in automatic cycle. The carriage stops are mechanical and it has an on screen digital readout for easy length setting. The machine saw daily use for about 4 years and has probably had less then 10 hours a year of use since 2008. We operated the saw under ISO 9000 compliance with a recorded maintenance program so the machine was lubricated at the start of every shift. We added a manual stop that pivots out of the way so you can trim the last pc to length for less waste. We supplied the automotive exhaust industry with cut exhaust tube and never had a part rejected for length or squareness. The rollers on the input conveyers are 304 stainless steel Weight is around 2200 LBS.
