PAYMENT OPTIONS AND PROCEDURES

All correspondence, Wire/ACH transfers, Checks, etc., must have your Paddle Number and reference the sale on which you are bidding. If you do not, we will not know how to apply your payment!

Buyer’s Premium:
- 15% for payments by Wire or Certified Check; or
- 18.5% if using Credit Card or PayPal

BTM requires a credit card on file to verify valid bidders. BTM reserves the right to run your credit card on file if we do not hear from you about your outstanding invoice within 48 hours.

Sales tax is applied to all buyers in the United States. If you have a sales tax exemption ID #, please make sure to enter it when signing up for each auction. If we do not have your form on file, taxes will be added until we receive it.

*NOTE:
If you intend on making your payment by check, cash, or wire transfer, you must let BTM know to remove the 3.5% electronic payment fee. If you have selected your credit card as your method of payment when you signed up, the system defaults to that payment method on every auction. You must email the Auction Coordinator at auctions.opps@btmindustrial.com. If you notice a mistake, simply let us know and we will adjust your invoice and send you a new one.

*NOTE:
It is your responsibility to make sure your payment method is correct, and the buyer’s premium is correct. If we process your payment and you did not tell the Auction Coordinator you wanted a different payment method, no refunds of the 3.5% will be issued.

*NOTE:
If your invoice is two (2) weeks late or more, you will be subject to a 5% invoice total late fee. This applies to pick-up customers as well. If your items are not picked up within two (2) weeks, you will be subject to a late pick-up fee of the same amount.

RETURNS/REFUNDS

The only possibility of returns/refunds are for the following conditions:

1. Damaged shipping upon arrival: original packaging and pictures need to be taken and sent to BTM within 48 hours of receiving your shipment. Full refund of hammer, buyer’s premium, and shipping/handling are eligible for refund if the above terms of notification and pictures are presented within the 48-hour time frame.
2. Items were not accurately listed. Examples: count/quantity, damage of parts not pictured, part numbers are listed incorrectly. BTM needs to be notified within 48 hours of receiving your parts of a problem for the possibility of return. In the event this warrants a return, only the hammer price and buyer’s premium will be eligible for a refund, not shipping/handling. Buyer is responsible for shipping the parts back to BTM. Once parts are received, a refund check will be issued. We do not issue credits on other invoices. Every return situation is different and BTM reserves the right to handle each situation differently based on the facts and situation.

BTM Industrial International Shipments
• All paperwork and shipping labels are completed by BTM Industrial for ALL International Shipments
• Customers are welcome to have BTM Industrial ship on their UPS/Fedex account, but the paperwork and shipping labels will be generated by BTM Industrial
• EEI’s are required when the value of the items or goods exceed $2,500.00 USD
• BTM Industrial will ship with specific HS Codes if requested by the customer

*NOTE: BTM CAN FILL OUT CUSTOMS PAPERWORK, BUT ONLY ONE TIME. IF PAPERWORK IS FILLED OUT AND A REQUEST TO MAKE CHANGES ON THEM, THERE WILL BE A $150 ADMIN PROCESSING FEE TO MAKE THESE CHANGES. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO COMMUNICATE WITH AUCTION COORDINATOR RIGHT AWAY ON CUSTOMS PAPERWORK AFTER YOU RECEIVE YOUR FINAL INVOICE. WE WILL NOT CHANGE ANY INVOICE AMOUNTS, SO DO NOT ASK!

*BTM INDUSTRIAL WILL ONLY SHIP TO THE ADDRESS THAT IS ON YOUR ACCOUNT WHEN YOU SIGN UP FOR THE AUCTION. IF YOU REQUIRE A DIFFERENT ADDRESS, YOU NEED TO CONTACT THE AUCTION COORDINATOR BEFORE YOU MAKE PAYMENT ON YOUR FINALIZED INVOICE THAT HAS SHIPPING AND HANDLING ADDED. *NOTE: EVEN IF YOU SEND AN EMAIL, BTM IS STILL ONLY FINACIALLY LIABLE FOR SHIPPING TO THE ADDRESS THAT IS ON YOUR INVOICE. BEST THING TO DO IS IF YOU REQUIRE AN ITEM TO GO TO ANOTHER ADDRESS, CHANGE IT IN YOUR BTM INDUSTRAIL ACCOUNT THAT WAY IT SHOWS UP ON YOUR INVOICE.

BTM INDUSTRIAL IS NOT RESPONSIBILE FOR ASKING BIDDERS WHERE THEY WANT THEIR ITEMS SHIPPED, QUOTES AND SHIPPING ARE ALL DONE BASED ON THE ADDRESS ON YOUR INVOICE.

BTM INDUSTRIAL WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES IF ITEMS NEED TO BE SENT TO OTHER LOCATIONS AFTER THE ITEMS LEAVE OUR BUILDING. IF THIS IS NEEDED, PAYMENT FOR REDIRECTING THE SHIPMENT MUST BE PAID BEFORE SHIPMENT IS REDIRECTED.

***SHIPPING QUOTES ARE GOOD FOR 7 DAYS AFTER YOU RECEIVE YOUR FINAL INVOICE, IF YOU ARE DELAYED ON YOUR PAYMENT AND YOUR INVOICE IS SHIPPED AFTER 7 DAYS, YOUR SHIPPING COST COULD CHANGE. PLEASE MAKE PROMPT PAYMENT TO AVOID ANY CHANGES IN SHIPPING COST***

Shipping Details:
BTM Industrial has updated the handling charges effective 1/06/2019 to ensure transparency of charges and to effectively package your items for safe delivery.

NOTE: This is for PACKAGING and HANDLING only, it DOES NOT include the actual cost to ship your items.

Ground Packaging:
Cost is $3.00 Per lot, PLUS a per pound (LB) charge as follows:

1-10 Lbs, $1.00 per lb
11-25 Lbs, $0.75 per lb
26-50 Lbs, $0.50 per lb
51-75 Lbs, $0.35 per lb
*BTM Does not package and ship any one box over 75 lbs. to ensure safe delivery.
*Packaging Items used: boxes, bubble wrap, tape, static bags (if needed for electronics)
*On valuable items such as drives, controls, power supplies, motors, items may be packed in our foam packaging machine. Handling costs will reflect if this packaging is used.

LTL Packaging:
1lb-225lbs, $0.25 per lb
226lbs-400lbs, $0.20 per lb
401lbs and above, $0.175 per lb
*Note these LTL costs are subject to change depending on how your items need to be safely packaged.


PALLET FEE $50 (standard skid 48x48 - A custom skid could be required. - Price depends on time & materials)
CRATE FEE $100


Shipping:
BTM Industrial uses UPS ground and LTL shipping.
Options for Shipping:
1.) BTM can provide you with a quote for us to ship your items.
2.) If you have a UPS account number, we can ship under your account.
3.) We can send you the package count, dimensions, and weights, so you may contract your own shipping. Documents must be provided by the buyer and the buyer assumes all responsibility for insurance and accuracy of the shipping information.

Shipping and Handling will be line itemed separately on your invoice to ensure you know what the two charges are.
